महिलाओं के लिए समान अवसरों के माहौल को बढ़ावा देने के लिए मनाया जाता है महिला दिवस
शिवपुरी। आज शासकीय कन्या महाविद्यालय शिवपुरी में महिला दिवस पर विधिक जागरूकता शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। मुख्य अतिथि रूप में डॉ. रश्मि गुप्ता अध्यक्ष जनभागीदारी समिति शासकीय कन्या महाविद्यालय शिवपुरी, मुख्य वक्ता के रूप विधिक अधिकारी डॉ. वीरेन्द्र चड्ढार उपस्थित थे।
कार्यक्रम को डाॅ. रश्मि गुप्ता ने संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने बताया कि सबसे पहले अमेरिका में 1909 में महिला दिवस मनाया गया था। तब करीब 15000 महिलाओं ने न्यूयॉर्क सिटी में वोटिंग के अधिकार, काम के घंटे कम करने व बेहतर वेतन की मांग को लेकर आंदोलन किया था। 1975 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने थीम के साथ इसे मनाना शुरू किया। तब से हर साल अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस को एक विशेष थीम के साथ मनाया जाता है।
यह थीम लैंगिक समानता की तत्काल आवश्यकता पर जोर देती है। यह थीम सरकारों, संगठनों और व्यक्तियों से बाधाओं को दूर करने और महिलाओं के लिए समान अवसरों के माहौल को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सामूहिक प्रयासों को प्रोत्साहित करती है। यह बात सही है कि महिलाएं हर क्षेत्र में परचम लहरा रही है। लेकिन यह भी कटु सत्य है कि आज भी कई जगहों पर उन्हें लैंगिक असमानता, भेदभाव झेलना पड़ता है। शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य से लेकर रोजगार तक पुरुषों और महिलाओं के बीच एक गहरी खाई नजर आती है। कन्या भ्रूण हत्या के मामले आज भी आते हैं। महिला के खिलाफ अपराध बढ़ते जा रहे हैं। ज्यादातर स्त्रियों को परिवार में फैसले लेने का अधिकार और आजादी नहीं मिल पाई है। ऐसे में हमारा यह कर्तव्य है हम महिलाओं की स्थिति समाज में बेहतर बनाने को लेकर प्रयासरत रहने का संकल्प लें। महिलाओं के उत्थान और सुरक्षा के लिए हर नारी को जागरूक करना आवश्यक है। जिस तरह से परिवार की गाड़ी दोनों पहियों के बल पर ही आगे बढ़ती है, उसी तरह से देश व दुनिया का रथ भी नर-नारी, दोनों के सहयोग से ही खिंच सकेगा। मौके पर मुख्य वक्ता डाॅ वीरेन्द्र चड्ढार ने महाविद्यालय के छात्राओं एवं एन.एन.सी की कैडिटो विधिक अधिकारों पर प्रकाश डाला। इसी प्रकार महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ एनके जैन एवं महाविद्यालय के सभी प्रोफेसर उपस्थित थे। कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने मे डाॅ. एन एस खण्डेलवाल एवं कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ. रेणू राय का अहम योगदान रहा।
